We’re making local residents aware of a vehicle crime that took place recently on Brewood Road, Coven.

Offenders targeted a Toyota Hilux, forcing entry and attempting to steal the vehicle. Fortunately, the theft was unsuccessful, but damage was caused during the attempt. Patrols are being increased in the area, and neighbourhood officers are reviewing any available CCTV and doorbell‑cam footage.

Vehicle thieves often target vans, 4x4s, and high‑value pickups like Hilux models. You can reduce the risk by taking a few simple steps:
